Jo is an incredible life coach.
She is very compassionate, understanding and motivating. Before Jo I felt lost and stuck in a self destructive rut. However after my sessions I learned more about myself and my abilities, than ever before. I have now got more confidence and clarity in my life. I approached Jo in 2020 to support me in increasing my confidence in connecting with others both socially and in important aspects of my working life. I was running a very successful dental practice for over 20 years and when a company approached me to buy it, I found it extremely challenging ...on one hand I was ready to embrace the sale of the business and yet on the other hand, I was filled with anxiety, overwhelm and confusion. I found Jo Shrimpton on an online search, as I really needed my own help and support and a professional coach to help me manage the challenge of selling a business that I has put in years of blood , sweat and tears into. As a result of the coaching, it was amazing how the whole sale process was the smoothest I could ever have imagined and the process which normally takes 6months to a year took only 16 weeks. I know that this was only possible because of the work Jo and I did together at the start.
From the get go, Jo was extremely supportive, but more than that, she comes with a wealth of skills, is able to understand what I needed on an emotional level as well as giving me practical advice and the support I so needed.
I booked a course of sessions with Jo as I needed that personal coaching to help me would help me through the ups and downs of the months of Due diligence, solicitors and accountant communications. Jo was always there for me, and whenever I connected through our phones, I could sense that Jo gave me 100% commitment through carefully listening and absorbing what I said at each call.
To summarise, Jo is an extremely intelligent, practical, human, empathetic, kind and supportive coach who can span the support needed both on a personal level and for those who are in the business world.
I am so thankful that I found Jo...we have promised to meet as we got on so well and need to celebrate the fact that I have now sold the practice and have a whole new life to embrace.
